Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Posting No: 2018 – 10

This position is a full-time role as Maintenance Technician at our Delta location. This role is suited to someone in their second year of millwright apprenticeship, or with equivalent informal education/experience.

 

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a highly respected team where your knowledge and experience are truly appreciated. 

 

In this position the successful candidate will:

 

  • Perform all maintenance inspections required

  • Maintain maintenance records

  • Clean and perform routine maintenance work on machinery

  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and forklifts to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair

  • Conduct safety workplace inspections

 

Skills required:

  • English 10

  • Math 11, or equivalent

  • Second Year Millwright apprentice, or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Wage: Up to $24.14 per hour
